A small and narrow region known as the Gulf Islands is nestled in the rain-shadow of Vancouver Island, BC Canada.

Salt Spring is the largest of these islands
and was originally known as 'Chuan'
- facing the sea - by the Coast Salish.

This idyllic setting, amidst a fragile
eco-system, lends inspiration to one's
